Day 03 – The Beatles!!

Loving Thailand!!  It’s a wonderful, diverse  place that you just can’t get enough of.  We started late today of course because of the drunken state of our party the night before, so what’s better than Thai BBQ to get you going!  We had lunch at Kaiyang Klang Krung.  We had Thai BBQ chicken, Sausage and green papaya salad, it was delicious.  We visited the Mall’s today, all I can say  is “put on your walking shoes” it’s huge.  I’m not sure how many levels, 4 or 5 and then you walk outside and go across the sky bridge to another Mall, how cool is that.  We visited Nat’s favorite handbag shop, OMG!!  We got buried in a sea of purses, it was great.  Of course Elizabeth, Susan and I just had to buy one, or two and a wallet to match of course.  Thomas got a few goodies for his ladies back home too!!    While at the Siam Paragon Mall, we had to get a Thai Massage (of course).  So, Mark’s lady got hold of his calves and shoulders and she was ooohing and aahing more than he was, she was enjoying his muscles and proclaiming it, it was hilarious.  Now Susan, told the lady that started with her, that  she liked it “Knock Knock”  which is probably the wrong spelling but that’s how you say harder in Thai, so she went a got a man to work on her.  Now this guy, was extremely infatuated with Susan by the time it was all over.  He was rubbing her “man calves”  with his eyes closed and really getting into it as he sang Love song’s to her by the Beatles, smelling her hair as he rubbed her head and neck and when he was done with her, he told her he loved her and would see her tomorrow.  It was even more hilarious then Mark’s lady.  Good times!!  Afterwards, we had dinner at Nakorn Pochana with some of Nat’s closest friends, that are treating us like family.  We had Giant Prawns that we’re huge (hence the word giant), Crab, Fish that tasted like flounder and Crab Fried Rice and to end the meal the sweetest grapefruit ever, yummo!!  Once we we’re done there, we had to go to O’Reillys (go figure)  and listen to the Bangkok Beatles.  These guys were awesome.  It’s amazing how well four Thai men have the words down and the accent of the true Beatles.  Nat’s friend David, i.e. Ringo, visited with us while they took a break.  If you’re ever in Thailand, the Bangkok Beatles are a must see.  They have a website where you can check them out at www.beatlesbangkok.com.  We took some pictures below of our day, Enjoy!!
